Book Review: Attached at the Heart -Barbara Nicholson & Lysa Parker

I just finished reading Attached at the Heart by Barbara Nicholson and Lysa Parker, co-Founders of Attachment Parenting International, and I have to say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book! FINALLY we have some solid evidence and stories to back up what many of us have known for years about Attachment Parenting and staying close to our children. The best thing, perhaps, about this book is that there aren't any definitive "you must do this to be a good parent" messages in this book, as you find with so many other "parenting" books.

Even if you don't completely identify with or label yourself as "Attachment Parenting", this book offers tons of wonderful stories from parents and the message throughout the book is to trust yourself as a parent and remember that you know your babies and children better than anyone else and that YOU know instinctively what they need and when you follow your instincts, you become more connected to your children throughout their lives. This book is a must-read for anyone even thinking about having children. I actually found it quite relevent even to parenting my teenager, so this is not just a book for those practicing the "7 Baby B's", but for parents with children of all ages. You can get this in paperback AND Kindle (links below).

But in the modern times, women are more conscious than before. They aspire for a slimmer and toner body. They search over the internet for weight loss programs for women. Eliminate the weight loss plans that promote pills, laxatives, fasting and potions. Do not believe in crash diets. That kind of weight loss plan or weight loss program for women sounds too good to be true. You need strong muscles to be able to exercise effectively. When you only eat few calories, you lose water and and muscle mass. It slowers your metabolism and it makes it more difficult to do intensive exercises. Childhood obesity continues to be viewed as a major public health problem in the United States! Regrettably, the childhood obesity in the U.S. has tripled in the last three decades. All these procedures were made as per the availability of things in the surroundings especially vegetations. They after observing all the actions of a particular herb or a plant applied it to various diseases. Hence a full references and data was generated and then documented in various ancient texts. Some of these texts are Charka Samhita, Susruta Samhita and Ashtaang samgraha. So, forget your defeatist attitude. Hope springs eternal. Buy Phentermine diet pills and celebrate the beauty of being alive. Look and feel better.
