Well, now it makes sense. I have pneumonia. After THREE visits to the urgent care, they finally took an X-Ray. Actually told me I didn't have it before I left after four different people looked at the X-Ray, but called me a few hours later and said that I did, indeed, have pneumonia according to the radiologist. Lovely. Z-pack. Lots of sleep. Happy Halloween!

STILL SICK!!!
I posted a while back about sort of a healing or health crisis. I just cannot shake being sick! I went back into the doctor and they asked if I realized that I have been sick with this same thing or a variation of it since September 20th. That's a long time to be coughing, feeling exhausted, just sick!
I've had a cough that's just gone on and on.
I feel like I am getting a message to slow down...rest...go to bed for a few days...but who can do that?
Good news is that I had a chest xray and I don't have pneumonia and my blood count is good. Interesting that my blood pressure is high for the first time since I was pregnant with my DS like 7 years ago. I am thinking it's the inhaler or the decongestants or something.
I am truly feeling depressed and actually angry over how bad I have felt for so long and how I just don't have the energy to do anything at all.
My friend who is a runner told me that maybe if I went for a walk or a run I'd feel better, but honestly, I break into a full body sweat and cough for an hour to the point of vomit if I even walk upstairs in my house. It's depressing that I can't even be active, not even a little.

Health Crisis?
Have you ever felt like you were in a "health crisis"? I really have been sick with something or another for at least a month. I feel like I am just totally rundown and my immune system is shot to heck.
I'd like to try to build myself back up. Any suggestions as to what worked for you if you've BTDT? I know I need to be better about my vitamins and committing to 8 hours of sleep a night.

Guy Ritchie gets $60 million for time served
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27256380/
Guess this clears the way for the Madonna/A-Rod thing to move forward. A-Rod asked his wife for a divorce recently, too.
I have to say that I am shocked that Madonna and Guy were able to come to a settlement so quickly. Could have been like Heather Mills/Paul McCartney...long and drawn out.
$60, 000, 000...not bad for time served LOL

We got an offer on our house!!
We got an offer on the house. It's been on the market since July and this is the 15th showing. First offer! It's lower than we had hoped, but in this market, it's still a great offer! We have till noon tomorrow to accept and WHEN we do, will close mid November.

'Plumber' says he has no plumbing license
Joe Wurzelbacher says he wants candidates to stick to issues, not him'

That WAS a pretty tacky move on McCain's part. Now it's just. Not good. First and last name on national tv? Tackay.

How can she stay on the ticket?
I don't understand how Sarah Palin is found to be guilty of abuse of power of her small position in her state and is somehow okie dokie to stay on and run for VP.
Why do people feel like she's a good candidate when she has been found to be in violation of ethics laws?
I guess I don't know who would oust her, but surely people don't feel like given that new information, she's fit to run the country...she couldn't fairly run her state!
Someone please explain this to me! I would feel this way regardless of the candidate, so I am not just trying to bash her per se, but her behavior and the way that people are just looking the other way on this. I cannot imagine what would happen to Obama if such a charge were even LEVELED against him let alone to be found guilty!

My son is Alex P. Keaton
DH and I are big liberals. We just are. We don't talk about it constantly, but our kids both know that we will be voting for Obama in this election. We ALSO are not anti-McCain and really never make much mention or comment on him at all because he's not a part of our political views.
BUT, my 6 year old is constantly talking about how he likes McCain and would vote for him if he could. Of course, he has no reasons or anything, but he says that he doesn't like Obama's commercials and like's McCain's better. LMAO
It was funny because a McCain ad (actually an anti-Obama ad) came on the TV and he said yeah, I like McCain! And I jokingly said "Jordan, are you a Republican?" Just to get a laugh out of DH. But he very seriously looked at me and said "Yes". He doesn't know what a Republican is. I then said "Are you a Democrat?" He said "Nope".
So crazy!
Just thought I'd share that. I KNEW that one of our kids would be a conservative. I knew it. LMAO Didn't know they'd know it when they were SIX!!!

Snakes in First Grade
One of the parents in our class gave the teacher/class a cool potted plant from her garden. Later in the day, they noticed that there was a SNAKE in the classroom and it had just slithered OUT OF THE POT! It was a brown snake.
I am SO GLAD that I wasn't subbing like I often do, I think I would have passed out!!!! DS says that his teacher didn't scream, but 3 other teachers did
