That I HATE the guy that is buying our old house from us. Like I really do. He is such a classless piece of shit and has basically conned us out of $$ and we can't back out because if we do, we may be sitting on that house forever. I hate that he's taken advantage and we can't tell him off because we need to close. I have never really hated anyone, I don't think, but I really do hate this loser.

And yep, I'm yelling!
Okay, I mentioned before that I am going back to school to get my IBCLC. I am taking a couple of "recommended" classes like Soc. & Psych., but I needed another component which I was going to buy modules for and would have cost me over $1000.
I found a course at Wichita State taught by an AMAZING woman who I have always been a big fan (and in awe) of. She's one of the leading authorities in the technical/practical lactation field. http://www.wichita.edu/thisis/news/n...cle&__NID=2697
Well, classes already started at WSU and enrollment was "iffy". I finally talked the lady in the admissions office into letting me do it today after she wasn't very positive about it at first. She called me back and said how she could tell how much I wanted to take this class and she got them to make an exception as far as late enrollment, but that I would need to see if I could get a spot.
I had been emailing back and forth with Dr. Riordan to find out more about the course, and I told her this am of my predicament and asked for the honor to be included in her class. She said YES and told them to add me!!!!!
I am so excited and I cannot believe I was able to pull it off. Now let's hope I can keep up with the class!!!! It's 3 credit hours, so I have gone from no school to trying to do 9 credit hours this semester!!!
After I pass her class, I will have everything i need to sit for the Boards. I never thought this would be.

We decided to go ahead and head to my mom's in Indiana. I had a free night at a Hilton hotel, so we stayed a hotel in Ohio after about 7 hours in the car and got up on Sunday morning to take the next 2.5 hours of the drive.
It's been nice. The kids are having a good time and it's really pretty here. It's been cool enough to sit outside and not deadly humid like in NC.
Taking lots of pics. Cool stuff to see!

I am thinking about taking my kids and driving to Indiana to my mom's. We haven't been ANYWHERE for vacation this year, mostly because we cannot afford it, but I HAVE to get out of here for a while, just to say we did. DH doesn't have vacation time because his entire company gets it at the same time and it's the week the kids go back to school.
Am I totally insane? It's like 9 hours. Can you even DRIVE 9 hours with only food breaks? I've never driven more than 4 hours at a time and that was NOT with my kids.
