Why does the pronunciation of coupons vary so much? The English language is so strange!

I am a little pissy that my DH fell asleep at 11pm when I told him I was looking forward to hanging out tonight. Oh well, he was really tired, but I am pouting.

Non-Violent Communication= yes, yes yes?

Do you or have you known people who take this to an unhealthy level? Like people who don't correct their children AT ALL, even when they are infringing on the comfort zones or physical boundaries of other people? This gets under my skin like nothing else.

I actually had a child BITE my child and draw blood once and the mother was not concerned at all, and didn't even apologize to me. She was a bigtime NVC-follower and felt like her daughter wasn't responsible for her actions because she was 2 (so let's not even TEACH her that it's not okay, right?)

My poor, poor cat!

Well, I posted a while back that I thought she had ear mites, but when they looked at her ear (which she had scratched raw and infected), they saw that it wasn't that. They didn't know what it was, but gave her a cortisone shot and antibiotics.

Now, a couple of weeks later, she has scratched the side of her neck (had to take off her collar because it was irritating it (won't get more graphic detail), and now I have to take her BACK to the vet, which she flips out about. AND, I bet it will cost me another couple hundred.

WTF is wrong with my cat? If they cannot tell me, I will freak out.
